Bringing marlin and other pelagic species to the boat, can be a dangerous task. The snooter is designed specifically for marlin. When using it you slide the stainless steel hoop over the marlins' bill and pull the rope to make the wire clamp down tight on the bill. This is also a great way for you to revive marlin so they swim away healthy and fit.
